About the Book: Hello, Home Cooking intertwines Ham’s fine-dining background with his childhood as a third-culture, Bolivian-Egyptian kid raised in Doha, Qatar to create recipes that creatively reimagine the classics. Full of recipes like Eggplant and Tofu Ragu, Focaccia Baladi, and Bolivian Cheesy Rice, it is a nostalgic reinterpretation rooted in culture, community, and accessibility.
About the Author: Ham El-Waylly is the head chef and partner at the New Orlean’s style seafood restaurant Strange Delight in Brooklyn. He is a recipe developer, video creator, and formerly part of the NYT Cooking’s Mystery Menu with his wife and fellow chef, Sohla.
