About the Book: My Greek Mom’s Recipes is Gus’s deeply personal tribute to his mother, Julia, who passed away in 2023. Hilarious and heartfelt, Gus gives readers a candid reflection of grief, family, and his mother’s unforgettable recipes. Each of the 75 recipes comes with a story about his mother – from avgolemono to a Greek Easter feast – and is a celebration of Greek food, culture, and mothers everywhere.

About the Author: Gus Constantellis is a gay, first generation Greek-American stand-up comedian and writer who grew up in Brooklyn. Gus writes for several children’s shows on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and Netflix, including The Lion Guard, Rainbow Rangers, Abby Hatcher, and Gabby’s Dollhouse. He often performs at NYC comedy clubs and is a story teller of his large immigrant family, Greek heritage, and hilarious dating stories.
