Mushroom Inoculation Workshop

Join GrowNYC Saturday, June 6, from 12 PM – 4 PM at the GrowNYC Teaching Garden on Governors Island as we inoculate mushroom logs for our new forest garden!

Stop by to learn the basics of growing your own backyard mushrooms and see how we’re building this exciting new garden space with edible fungi in mind. We’re thrilled to be partnering with The NYC Mushroom Network for this hands-on activity.

This activity is free and open to visitors ages 12 and up. Whether you’re mushroom-curious or ready to start growing at home, we’d love to see you there!

Logs are limited, and participation will be offered on a rolling, first come, first served basis while supplies last.
