Join us for an online information session where we will dive into the Youth Workforce Development Internship, GrowNYC’s paid 6-week internship for youth ages 16-19 years old. This session will also include application support, like tips for applying, general resume advice, and answering any application-specific questions that may arise.
From July through August, Youth Workforce Development Interns will rotate through each of GrowNYC’s programs: Education, Wholesale, Greenspace, and Food Access and Agriculture, completing a combination of hands-on field work and coursework to expand their understanding of GrowNYC’s environmental initiatives and the NYC local food system. Interns will gain valuable skills and knowledge in horticulture, urban farming, public service, environmental justice, food access, and more.
