Growing The Next Generation of Climate Leaders

We offer curricula to educators and paid opportunities for youth to explore and build exciting careers in food, urban agricultural, and environmental industries.

The GrowNYC Youth Workforce Development summer internship for teens between the ages of 16 – 19 years old. Participants cycle through GrowNYC’s programs, gaining them hands-on work experience in green careers in New York City.

Hands on Farm Education Visit the GrowNYC Teaching Garden on Governors Island

Our one-acre urban garden on Governors Island excites and educates visitors in all aspects of urban farming. We host schools, educators, and community groups during the week and the public on the weekends May-October.
