Who We Are Our Partners & Supporters

As New York City’s leading environmental nonprofit, we’re dedicated to fostering healthy, resilient neighborhoods. With the support of our community, public, and private partnerships, we expand our impact by reaching more neighborhoods. Together, we’re supporting the city, one garden, one market, and one community at a time.

Partner Spotlights

  • Bloomberg

    Bloomberg

Bloomberg has been a steadfast partner to GrowNYC since 2010, beginning with Michael Bloomberg’s support for the launch of our composting and school gardens programs during his time as mayor. Over the past decade, Bloomberg LP employees have rolled up their sleeves alongside our Green Space team to build community gardens across all five boroughs. Together, they’ve contributed more than 4,500 volunteer hours to help beautify New York City.

  • Mother Cabrini Health Foundation

    Mother Cabrini Health Foundation

The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation is a deeply valued partner in GrowNYC’s work to address hunger and improve health outcomes for New Yorkers facing food insecurity. Through Mother Cabrini’s support, GrowNYC delivers fresh, locally grown food to community-based organizations that distribute food directly to neighborhoods with high rates of poverty and diet-related illness. This partnership also helps ensure that families and older adults can access nutritious food close to home at Greenmarkets and Farmstands, through cooking demonstrations that introduce seasonal produce and Greenmarket Bucks so participants can prepare healthy meals at home. By supporting nutrition incentive promotion and flexible purchasing options through our Food Hub and Food Access Initiatives, Mother Cabrini is working with GrowNYC to increase fruit and vegetable consumption, honor cultural food traditions, and promote long-term health and well-being across the five boroughs.

  • United Way of New York City

    United Way

United Way’s partnership with GrowNYC spans more than a decade and reflects a shared commitment to expanding equitable food access across New York City. Since 2013, United Way has worked closely with GrowNYC to help ensure that families facing food insecurity can access fresh, healthy food in their own neighborhoods. Through this partnership, regionally grown food is delivered through GrowNYC’s Food Hub to community pantries across the city, connecting regional farmers to neighborhoods with the greatest need.
