Since 1976, GrowNYC Greenmarkets have connected regional farmers with New Yorkers across all five boroughs, shaping the city’s food culture and expanding access to seasonal, sustainably grown food.

The anniversary year culminates with In Season on September 17, 2026 at The Glasshouse overlooking Bryant Park—an unforgettable evening bringing together food, sustainability, and design. Timed between Fashion Week and Climate Week, In Season celebrates Greenmarket’s rich history while spotlighting the chefs, restaurants, and innovators shaping the future of local food in our city.
