While Greenmarket does not have a gift certificate available for purchase, customers may purchase debit/credit tokens at most Greenmarkets and gives these tokens to friends/family as gifts. The tokens are accepted by most Greenmarket farmers and can be used to purchase any item in Greenmarket.

Some farms, especially orchards, welcome visitors for pick-your-own. Ask at the stand or visit our farm webpages to learn more.

Most Greenmarkets are outdoors in public spaces, and the presence of dogs and the responsibilities of dog owners are governed by NYC law. Mindful dog walkers with well-behaved, leashed dogs, are welcome in our outdoor markets. If you bring your dog, ensure he/she does not “mark” stalls, crates, or equipment, and remember it can be a challenge to walk a dog in crowds and the tight spaces between tables.

If you believe you lost personal property at a GrowNYC Greenmarket location, please complete and submit this Google Form to report the missing item. Our staff will contact you if the item is recovered to arrange for you to pick up the item. If you do not receive a response after two weeks, you can assume the item has not been found. The length of time that GrowNYC holds found items varies. Keys, phones/other electronic devices (tablets, cameras, etc.), wallets/bags/purses containing cash, IDs without an address, EBT/OTC cards, prescription eyewear, sunglasses, and jewelry/watches are discarded after one month. IDs with an address will be mailed to the address after two weeks. All other items are kept for a period of two weeks before being discarded.
