Our Work Compost & Waste Diversion Education

Our Work Teaching New Yorkers How to Divert Waste From Landfill

GrowNYC offers educational support to New Yorkers and helps drive residential participation in the municipal curbside composting program. We work with the New York City Department of Sanitation to identify target areas experiencing low rates of participation in curbside composting initiatives.

We raise awareness, foster community engagement, and boost participation in composting across the city.
